why does my dog attack the vacuum cleaner?

Your dog thinks it is another animal because it make a loud noise. He is just trying to protect you and his domain.

My dog does the same I think they think they’re protecting you or sommat like that. Mad though init!!!
Seriously though, I think they see it as a threat to them or you in some way, that’s all I think they’re doing!!!

My pommie does that too. I think they think they are protecting you from the terrible machine. LOL

because the noise hurts the dogs ears because the dogs ears are sentitive

All of mine have done that. My Border COllie used to try and attack the lawn mower too, which scared me to death and earned her a trip to the pen when I mow.
